This soap is intended for mainly dogs, also can be used on bigger animals and humans as well. I had a customer use on her cat, but this soap has essential oils and cats don't get along. I heard back she said everything was fine. But I don't recommend using on cats.
We use homemade soaps that are delicate and gentle, why not make a soap for our pets. Great for dogs with sensitive skin. This soap contains several essential oils with insect repellent properties. This is a bar soap. We add Castor oil to make this soap a conditioning bar.
This is a small bar about 2 ounces each, so I put 2 bars in to equal 4 ounces.
My soaps are creamy, lathering, well scented, moisturizing, last a long time, do not crack like commercial soaps do, and you will love them!! I have been making homemade soaps for several years. I started my business in 2000.
As always let dry between uses, soap will last a lot longer.
Place unused soaps in your drawers with your clothes, while waiting to be used, your clothes will pick up the soap fragrance. Can even leave wrapped, some customers unwrap to dry out the soap more, but no need too. Clothes will still pick up the scent
A lot of love goes into each and every bar of soap I make.
The process.
Water and lye are measured and mixed to cool.
Each oil I add is weighed and mixed into the batch I am working on.
Then I add the lye water mix.
I mix to just before trace, then I add the rest of the ingredients. I have to work quickly, at this point, the soap, will get thick fast.
After all ingredients are added. I pour the newly made soap into the mold.
Then I wait 24 hours to cut the soap. This is my favorite part, seeing how my soaps turn out.
My soaps are placed on a shelf with air all around to cure for four to six weeks. If I absolutely need the soap, I can use after two weeks. The longer it is cured the milder the soap and the longer it last, so I like to let cure as long as possible.
After soap is cured. I trim the rough edges and make into a nice shape, sometimes that's really hard to do.
Each bar is shrink wrapped, and labeled.
