Once you get your order, please inspect it, if you have any problems or issues, please contact me, so I can work with you to solve the issue. I make each item by hand from scratch. I buy a few bases of some of the bath products, I do list they are bases that I have purchased. On those I scent, bottle and label. I also try to make you fresh products. I make, powder, shampoo, conditioner, lotions and salves fresh for you. I do use a preservative in any of my products that contain water, so they will keep longer. I also make scent sticks, cuticle sticks and cold process soaps from scratch.
My issue is I am not perfect. Please consider this before writing a review. I will do everything I can to make to you happy.
I love keeping busy.
I don't do this to get rich, I do it because I love making and selling and using my products. I make my soaps in small 4 pound batches. I make these soaps and bath products because they are superior for your skin. If an ingredient don't have a purpose or don't have to be in a product, I do not put it in my products.

I am a soap maker and have been for more than 20 years, I make many types of gift sets, or tell me what you want and I will make it for you.
I also crochet, I learned in my 20's and that was a long time ago. I have several purses in my shop, that I have made. I also do special crochet orders. Contact me.

I agree 100%, they can be used and washed over and over. I wash and dry mine in with my regular wash. I never have an issue. Sometimes they are wrinkled, I just smooth out, and place in my drawer for next time.

I make and sell homemade soaps, creams, salves, lotions, lip balms and scent sticks. I also love to crochet and have a sewing machine

I was always into nature. We lived in the city, every summer we went to the mountains. My grandfather taught me several things about nature, he showed me certain plants to eat, how to find good mushrooms and lots about the woods. One day as a young adult, I bought an herb book to advance my studies. It had lots of herbal projects, one was soap making. I bought all the ingredients and a friend came over and we made soap, my first batch was unscented, made my skin feel wonderful and I loved it.
At that time in my life I was raising a son on my own, worked a full time job that didn't pay well, I picked up a part time job at the local restaurant, working 3 nights a week. I didn't have much time to myself and work on making soap.
When my son was a teenager, he got his own job in that same restaurant. A lot of nights we worked together. As he grew older I started dating and met my wonderful husband. We married.
One day I asked my husband if he minded if I started a soap company. One of my friends wanted to do it too. So we did together. First we got a name. Jento Soaps. Our names were Jennie and Toni, put both names together and Jento Soaps was born. We got a tax number and started making and selling soap. We started with melt n pour soap. That's getting a block of soap, scenting, coloring and molding the soap. In the mean time Toni dropped out of our business. Doing this on my own, I wanted better soap, I started experimenting with Hot Process Soap. Hot Process is melting oils, adding lye water, but when done, cook the soap until its thick, then pour into mold. This soap is safe to use and basically cure when hard, in a day or 2. The soap was really messy. It was like a big glob of soft play do and had to be squeezed into mold while extremely hot, I had lots air bubbles. It just wasn't my thing. I read more and started making Cold Process Soap, that's melting oils, mixing lye with water, mixed lye water with oils, adding scent and color. Pouring into mold, let set 24 hours, cut into bars, set on slotted shelf and letting cure for at least 4 weeks. This is the soap I am still making to this day. I love my soaps. I will never go back to that stuff they call soap, that is purchased from the grocery store. You know the kind that dries your skin and makes itchy from being so dry.
I have been making homemade soaps for 23 years and have made and sold more than 20,000 bars.
I started my Etsy Store in 2009, I put 10 items on, I didn't sell anything, got board and side track. Until the present, a friend has an Etsy store and told me he sold over 2997 items and had to shut his Etsy store down around Christmas to get caught up.
So here I am again. Trying again.
I have been making and selling soap, since 2000. I do craft shows, my web site is www.jentosoaps.com , retail and wholesale and now I am building an etsy store. I also have a FACEBOOK page with all my sales and promotions! I think it is wwwfacebook/jentosoaps.com. I make over 30 scents of soap, I also make and sell lotions, creams, salves, balms. And crochet rugs, purses and scarves. That was 2017, now its 2023. I still do all the same as above. I have sold a lot in my etsy store now. I have also cut down on the soaps I make and sell, as well. I also do a lot of research creating new items.
